Hi everyone!
This month we are pleased to have Paul Schnackenburg who will deliver a virtual presentation for us on two topics:
- Security Exposure Management. This feature is included in Microsoft Defender XDR (even for Business Premium) and is the evolution of Secure Score. It’s Microsoft’s take on Continuous Threat Exposure Management (CTEM) and Paul will show you how it’s graph database, attack paths, choke points and security initiatives can be used to improve your organization’s cyber security posture.
- Conditional Access policies are the Zero Trust policy engine in any Microsoft 365 / Azure tenant– and they need management and governance and ongoing attention. We’ll look at how you can understand the impact of policies before enforcing them, and also how you can manage them, including documentation and backup. Plus, a free, open-source tool called Maester lets you evaluate your CA policies against various frameworks and helps you configure them according to best practices, which Paul will demo for us.
We are also happy to announce that we are trailing a new venue for in-person meetups. Although Paul will be remote, it would be great to have you join us in-person to trial this new venue together. However, if you cannot make it please join virtually via the Teams link below.
