Hi, Everyone!

As COVID-19 continues to expand within Australia, it is a time where we need to come together as one. In light of the new restrictions that came out today, we have decided that this month the Brisbane Microsoft 365 Users Group will be held online. This is a first for this community, and we are excited to showcase the technology we know and love.

This month we have an amazing line up of speakers available across four jammed pack sessions. It’s so amazing to be part of such a wonderful community, and I hope you can join us for our first online meetup ever.

Please ensure you RSVP on either Meetup or Eventbrite as the Teams Live Event URL will be emailed directly to attendees that register.

This month we are pleased to have Nada Alterisio, Hal Yaman, Garet Griffin & Ben Fletcher who have graciously offered to be our guest speakers for the evening and will be presenting the below sessions.

Nada: We recognise the vital role that our technology plays in supporting people and organisations each day, especially those working tirelessly on the first line of business.

This session will focus on the features of Microsoft Teams designed to ensure Firstline Workers are not overlooked and have access to the tools, resources and expertise they need for remote working during challenging times.

Hal: Are you wondering how much local storage your MS Office 365 backup requires? Are you wanting to learn more about your user’s behaviour while connected to your services overtime to manage better your MS Office 365 licensing costs? Do you have your management team wanting more insight into your organisation’s license usage?

All these questions and more can be solved using a community WebApp tool created by Hal.

Garet: From Instinct to Insight – Positioning Our Approach to Information Management For Better Value. We know how to run our businesses. We also know that data in all its forms winds up being the lifeblood of our business over time. However, effectively managing, sharing and utilising information to increase performance can be elusive.

In this session, we will explore some helpful concepts to shape better our approach, as well as look at how these can be applied within the Microsoft toolsets.
